Economics chose me just as much as I chose it. Coming from a strong science background in high school, I developed a natural affinity for the mathematical and analytical side of Economics, the kind that makes Econometrics feel logical, and complex models feel intuitive rather than intimidating.
I went on to graduate in the top 10% of my cohort in Economics, completing both an Honours degree and a research qualification - finishing as one of the highest scorers in my class. Along the way, I also completed independent academic research and a publication, which gave me a depth of knowledge that stretches well beyond standard course material. I understand Economics not just as a subject to be studied, but as a living, interconnected discipline where Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics and development all speak to each other.
Originally from India, I bring with me a rich academic tradition and exposure to Economics education that is both rigorous and globally relevant. Studying in one of India's competitive academic environments meant that excellence was not optional, it was the standard.
As a tutor, I am patient, thorough and genuinely invested in every student I work with. I do not believe in moving forward until a concept is truly understood and I have the subject knowledge, the research experience and the mathematical grounding to explain even the most complex ideas in a way that is clear, structured and confidence-building.

MY APPROACH:
My approach is simple and student-first. I focus entirely on making sure a topic is fully understood before moving forward - no rushing, no moving on until you are confident. Every session involves working through concepts, answering as many questions as needed, and reinforcing learning through short, fun quizzes that make revision feel less like a chore and more like a challenge.
HOW I STRUCTURE MY LESSONS:
I believe in building strong foundations before tackling complexity. Lessons follow a clear progression:
We start with the core basics, using industry-standard textbooks by leading economists and authors like Varian for Microeconomics, Mankiw for Macroeconomics, and Stock & Watson for Econometrics.
Once the foundation is solid, we gradually move toward advanced concepts and applications.
Each topic ends with a quick quiz to test understanding and boost retention.
MY STRENGTHS:
What sets me apart is that my knowledge of Economics goes well beyond the classroom. Having completed independent research and a published academic work, I bring a broader and deeper perspective to every topic I teach. I understand not just core Economics but also how different sub-disciplines such as behavioural economics, development economics, econometric modelling connect and overlap. This means I can give you context, real-world relevance and analytical depth that goes beyond just passing an exam.
