À propos d'Irina
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education. I taught in IB schools in Colombia (2013–2015), gaining direct classroom experience with the IB programme. Currently, I tutor international IB students from Lisbon, London, Paris, Dubai, and Switzerland, giving me a deep understanding of different educational systems and expectations. I am passionate about helping students achieve excellent results in IB Mathematics, combining rigorous academic guidance with an approachable and supportive teaching style. My goal is to build both confidence and competence, preparing students for exams and future university success.

My lessons are fully tailored to IB Mathematics HL and SL students, focusing on building strong conceptual understanding and improving exam performance. I use Miro, an interactive online whiteboard where all notes and exercises are saved, allowing students to review material anytime. I also maintain contact with my students through email or WhatsApp, providing guidance between lessons to ensure confidence with homework and exam preparation. We regularly work with past IB exam papers, developing effective strategies to maximize results. My approach goes beyond memorization — I guide students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and practical application of mathematical concepts.
