À propos d'Izabela
Hello! I am a neuroscience PhD candidate based in Paris. I offer online tutoring in mathematics, biology, and general science for primary and middle school students.
During my master's studies in Brazil, I also completed pedagogy courses, which are part of teacher training there.
I have previous experience with teaching children in primary school, where I taught mathematics and also university students.
My teaching approach is inspired by the ideas of Brazilian educator Paulo Freire, focusing on dialogue, curiosity, and helping students actively understand concepts rather than simply memorizing them.
I can help students with:
• mathematics fundamentals
• biology and basic science
• homework support
• study organization and preparation for tests
Lessons are held online.

My lessons are designed to help students fully understand concepts and develop critical thinking.
I adapt each lesson to the student's needs, pace, and learning style. My approach focuses on dialogue, curiosity, and encouraging students to ask questions and reflect critically, rather than simply memorizing information.
A typical lesson may include:

• activities to improve study habits and build confidence
I work with:
• primary and middle school students who need support in mathematics, biology, science, or homework organization
• bachelor’s degree students in medical sciences, especially pharmacy, biology, and neuroscience
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and developing curiosity about science and how theoretical knowledge applies to everyday life.
Lessons are held online and can always be adapted to the student's level and goals.
