I have known Mathieu since 1989.
Mathieu has great qualities both as a person and as a teacher:
+ He is compassionate and earnest. His love for students and his sincerity are exceptional.
+ What makes him such a phenomenal teacher is his easy-going style that is balanced with intensity and focus to learn while making a genuine human connection.
+ One of Mathieu's strongest character traits is his patience. He is patient with himself, and he is patient with his students. No... he is not "weak," it's not a weakness to be patient. He is a truly great teacher.
+ Mathieu listens to the student. Active listening is a rare skill, and Mathieu has mastered it. He doesn't just push his agenda -- he is a superb listener.

Mathieu has helped me with my French. He know the finer points of every aspect of the language, and I feel that i can ask him anything. He is sincere, and always helpful.

He understands that learning is a journey. It's a two-way street to be enjoyed. Mathieu makes learning fun because it's natural, genuine, and best of all ... human.
