My Tutoring Approach and Methodology
As a current Physics Graduate Student pursuing my Master’s degree, my approach to teaching math and physics is rooted in conceptual clarity, patience, and real-world application. Because my entire higher education in India was conducted in English, I deliver all lessons completely in English. I focus on breaking down complex, intimidating formulas into logical, digestible steps. My goal is to build a student’s confidence so they can solve problems independently rather than simply memorizing solutions.
Typical Lesson Structure
Every 60-minute lesson is carefully structured to maximize progress and keep the student engaged:
Review & Check-in (10 mins): We review previous homework and clarify any lingering doubts from their school lectures.
Concept Breakdown (20 mins): I introduce the core topic using visual examples, interactive mapping, or real-world physics scenarios (like mechanics or optics).
Guided Practice (20 mins): We solve problems together, starting with basic examples and gradually increasing the difficulty.
Wrap-up & Goal Setting (10 mins): The student summarizes what they learned, and we set clear, manageable targets for the upcoming week.
